The Pokémon within the Super-Ancient Pyramid were highly combative, extremely aggressive, and rich in real battle experience. It had always been one of the best places for Hoenn’s Top Trainers to catch Pokémon. However, because the environment there was relatively closed off, the League had established many regulations regarding Pokémon capture in order to prevent ecological disruption within the pyramid.
In fact, it could be viewed as a Safari Zone. However, this was a Safari Zone exclusively for Trainers directly affiliated with the Hoenn League. Trainers from other regions who wished to train or capture Pokémon there would have to pay a much greater price.
