PC Chapter 927 Psychic Terrance

“Tapu Fini, thank you so much this time.”

Although he didn’t know what kind of agreement Tapu Fini had reached with Xerneas, this special training had allowed Altaria to achieve such remarkable results in such a short time. Tapu Fini’s pure water had undoubtedly played a crucial role.

Producing such a massive amount of pure water must have caused significant exhaustion for Tapu Fini as well, and Terrance truly didn’t know how to repay it.

“Fi-ni~” Tapu Fini smiled faintly and shook its head, then glanced once more at Altaria and Terrance before turning and leaving.

“Thank you…” Terrance silently added in his heart before walking over to Altaria to check on its condition.

Terrance glanced at the time. Only six hours had passed since the special training began. It was still afternoon. In just six hours, Altaria’s control over Fairy Aura had undergone a qualitative leap. It was simply unbelievable.

“Alt~aria”

Letting out a soft cry, Altaria signaled that Terrance didn’t need to worry. It was in excellent condition. After looking gratefully in the direction Tapu Fini had left, Altaria understood that all of this was thanks to Tapu Fini.

This special training hadn’t significantly increased Altaria’s strength. The main focus wasn’t power growth, but rather control over external Fairy energy.

Against most opponents, the results of this training wouldn’t have much effect. But against Fairy-type opponents, Altaria would absolutely be their nightmare.

More importantly, this training had laid a solid foundation for Altaria. With this foundation, whether it was the Ice Moon tactic or other applications of Fairy Aura, Altaria would be able to handle them with much greater ease.

The training time had been short, which surprised Terrance. There was still plenty of time left in the day. After thinking it over, Terrance decided to head back and help Altaria consolidate the results of today’s training.

“Let’s have Ninetales and Gardevoir experience it,” Terrance said with a slight smile.

But before that, Terrance first went to Seafolk Village to check on his express delivery.

“Rotom Pokédex and those three stones should have arrived in Alola.”

After confirming the delivery information, Terrance suddenly paused, hearing an out-of-place sound.

After training for so long, his stomach began to rumble. He was getting hungry.

Altaria was exhausted, but he himself hadn’t had an easy time either…

Rubbing his stomach helplessly, Terrance wandered around for a bit before entering a restaurant and ordering a local seafood mixed rice.

After waiting less than ten minutes, the dish finally arrived. But when Terrance picked up the accompanying spoon, he suddenly froze.

“My psychic power… seems to have materialized.”

Under Tapu Fini’s training, the progress of Terrance’s meditation method finally reached a limit and successfully broke through, making him a proud Psychic.

The materialization of psychic power—forming telekinesis—meant that Terrance was no longer a rookie Psychic, but a true one, the kind envied by countless people!

Holding the spoon, although he was very hungry, Terrance didn’t start eating right away. Instead, he fixed his gaze on the spoon, wrapping it with his materialized psychic power.

What he intended to do now… was to use all his strength to control his telekinesis and bend the spoon.

“Bend…”

Terrance gritted his teeth, eyes wide open, exerting all his strength until his face turned red, but the spoon remained completely still, showing no sign of bending at all.

“So hard…” Helpless, Terrance gave up and switched his target to a grain of rice on the plate. As his telekinesis tightened, a single grain was directly crushed flat. Seeing this, Terrance finally smiled in satisfaction.

It seemed that he had truly become a Psychic, no doubt about it. Happiness really did come suddenly. Enduring six hours of pressure within the dense mist had been worth it.

After finishing the meal in a good mood, Terrance left the restaurant and was about to head back. However, at that moment, an unfamiliar girl blocked his path.

“You are…?”

Looking at the girl with a Ribombee on her head, Terrance asked instinctively.

“Shh~ There’s a fairy aura on you, very strong,” the girl didn’t answer his question right away. Instead, she quickly stepped forward, leaned close to Terrance, and sniffed him before speaking thoughtfully.

“My name is Mina, a resident of Seafolk Village. I’m a painter,” the girl named Mina then said seriously.

Mina, the Trial Captain of the Alola region in the original story, proficient in Fairy-type and a Fairy-type specialist in the future, but currently, just an ordinary painter.

“Hello, I’m Terrance.” Terrance greeted her, somewhat confused. This girl was a bit strange… the scent of fairy aura, what kind of smell was that?

“Mr. Terrance, may I ask… you’ve met Tapu Fini, right?” Mina’s words were astonishing, making Terrance look at her, and at the Ribombee on her head with surprise.

“I see, so your Ribombee was there at the time too,” Terrance said with a smile.

“Then that means you really have met Tapu Fini?” In the past, many people in the Alola region had challenged the mist created by Tapu Fini in order to obtain pure water. Among them were Trainers with ill intentions. Perhaps because Tapu Fini had grown tired of such humans, it no longer showed itself. On Poni Island, the residents rarely saw their guardian deity anymore. So when Mina discovered that Terrance had been in contact with Tapu Fini, she immediately became excited and asked.

However, Terrance couldn’t tell this girl the details.

“Sorry, I can’t say much about Tapu Fini. I hope you understand.” Terrance waved his hand. “Well then, maybe we’ll meet again if fate wills it.”

“Wait, Mr. Terrance, then who exactly are you…?” Seeing Terrance about to leave, Mina immediately asked anxiously. After all, Terrance might be the only human in recent years who had seen Tapu Fini, and Tapu Fini held great significance for her.

“Me? I’m from the Hoenn region, a Trainer currently challenging the Hoenn League’s Elite Four. Your senses are pretty sharp, maybe I really do have a strong fairy aura on me,” Terrance said with another smile. Thinking back on Mina’s words now, he found them quite interesting. She could actually smell the fairy aura; perhaps in the future, she might become an excellent Trainer. This time, Terrance didn’t look back and walked straight out of Seafolk Village.
