PC Chapter 1035 Crushing Tabitha, the First Signs of Disaster

Within the Fairy Domain constructed by Mega Diancie, an Ice Moon hung high in the sky. The surrounding mirrors and the ground were entirely shrouded in a layer of pink mist and aura, with numerous Pokémon faintly visible within. Besides Terrance’s main Fairy-type Pokémon, forty-nine Ribombee fluttered through the domain, stirring the mist with Quiver Dance before Baton Passing their boosted status changes to the core members of the Fairy Army. In an extremely short time, Altaria, Diancie, Ninetales, Gardevoir, Mawile, and the others were all brought to their peak condition.

Trapped within the Fairy Domain, with their vision and movements further disrupted by Mismagius’s illusion skills and the Misty Terrain created by Gardevoir and Mawile, Tabitha and his Pokémon found it nearly impossible to locate Terrance’s side. They could only unleash their full power from within and try to destroy the Fairy Domain in an attempt to break free. However, with so many Fairy-type Pokémon present, the Fairy Domain was now far more stable than it had been last time. The moves released by Tabitha’s Pokémon vanished almost immediately, their destinations completely unknown.

Without exception, all the moves intended to break through the Fairy Domain were devoured by the mist. After being enhanced by the Fairy Aura and the Ribombee, the dual Misty Terrain of Gardevoir and Mawile merged with Gardevoir’s psychic power and acquired an incredible property. By simulating a vortex, it ensured that no matter what kind of move was used, it could not escape the fate of being swallowed.

Gardevoir divided its attention among multiple tasks, using telepathy in coordination with Terrance to oversee the entire battlefield. Although the Pokémon Tabitha had brought were quite powerful, they simply could not compare with the combined strength of the entire Fairy Army.

Once the Fairy Domain had been successfully established, Terrance no longer had any interest in continuing to tangle with Tabitha. Tracking down Groudon was the real priority.

Through the mist that spread throughout the entire Fairy Domain, Gardevoir quickly sensed the exact position of every one of Tabitha’s Pokémon. It controlled the mist, shaping it into countless chains that bound them, immediately throwing the Pokémon into chaos. At the same time, Gardevoir communicated telepathically with Altaria and the others, becoming the command center. Ninetales projected a gigantic Baby-Doll Eyes through the Ice Moon to exert mental pressure, perfectly coordinating with the chains of mist and restricting the movements of Tabitha’s side.

This tactical combination alone was enough to prevent Tabitha from breaking through. There was no need for Altaria and the others to engage in individual combat.

After the targets had been located, the mirrors forming the Fairy Domain began shifting positions, suddenly becoming eerie and unpredictable. At the same time, Fairy Light containing the power of the entire Fairy Army descended.

Under the barrage of endless rays, the team that had given the elderly Elite Four Moore so much trouble instantly collapsed.

As Mawile strolled about indifferently, it licked its lips and resolutely swallowed a stream of magma that came flying toward it. It then exhaled a puff of hot air. This battle had basically nothing to do with it, but getting a full meal out of it was not bad either. That magma tasted quite good.

Crack—

As the Fairy Domain shattered, Terrance and the Fairy Army he had brought were finally revealed in their entirety before everyone.

The sight of Mega Altaria, Ninetales, Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, Mawile, and forty-nine Ribombee slowly emerging was utterly breathtaking.

There had been no such grand commotion when Terrance arrived. The Fairy Domain had been constructed in nothing more than an instant.

This alone showed just how much effort Terrance had devoted to the Fairy Domain. Most of the resources he had obtained after becoming an Elite Four had been poured into its construction. Though he had spent lavishly, the results were exceedingly satisfying.

“You have several powerful Pokémon at your disposal, yet you’re incapable of commanding them to display the strength they should possess. Maxie undoubtedly made a terrible move by entrusting these Pokémon to you.”

With only Heatran, a Pokémon whose strength surpassed the norm, along with several top-tier Pokémon that each fought independently, Tabitha could not even force the Fairy Domain to reveal its full capabilities. The Fairy Domain possessed multiple cores operating simultaneously, making it exceptionally stable once activated and capable of handling all manner of situations. With Tabitha’s panicked commands and poorly formed team composition, unless he possessed overwhelming strength and had made sufficient targeted preparations, he would never be able to break through the Fairy Domain—

“Elite Four Terrance, Groudon,” Moore reminded him.

“That direction…” Terrance nodded, then glanced at Troy among the police officers without saying anything more. The next moment, the mist transformed into clouds and wrapped around Altaria’s entire body. Before long, a cloud-and-mist creature resembling an enormous sky beast appeared.

As it slowly rose, the enormous beast actually merged with the sky, making it difficult to distinguish from its surroundings. This was all thanks to Mismagius’s illusion abilities.

The main Pokémon returned to their Poké Balls, while the Ribombee concealed themselves within the mist, acting as wings and controlling the wind direction. In this way, Terrance and the others’ flight speed and concealment reached an unbelievable level.

Not much time had passed between Terrance’s arrival and Tabitha’s defeat. As Terrance disappeared into the distance, the police officers sucked in sharp breaths, staring at Tabitha and his numerous Pokémon, who were still bound by the solidified mist that had yet to disperse. They were utterly astonished by Terrance’s strength. Elite Four Moore glanced in the direction Terrance had departed and said, “Perhaps he really can stop Groudon.”

Indeed, Moore found it difficult to imagine that this young Elite Four possessed such strength. If this Fairy Army had appeared several decades ago, who could possibly have stopped its advance? Perhaps only those Legendary Pokémon.

Moore had a vague premonition that this Fairy Elite Four Terrance would soon give the entire Hoenn region an enormous surprise.

“The times are about to change…”

The police officers remained silent. Aside from being amazed by the strength of Terrance, one of the League’s Elite Four, the matters involving Groudon and Team Magma weighed heavily on their hearts. No one knew in what direction the events unfolding across Hoenn would proceed.

“So this is Gym Leader Terrance’s true strength…” Troy was also deeply silent, but he soon came to terms with it. Both Teacher Rotom and Teacher Kotoko had praised Terrance endlessly. There was no reason Terrance would not possess strength worthy of his admiration.

After Terrance left, the police officers still had to continue handling the aftermath. The dangers threatening Mt. Chimney and Lavaridge Town had not yet been completely eliminated. However, because Terrance had taken action, the officers felt somewhat more at ease, as though they had found a source of emotional support.

…

…

In the stretch of ocean connecting Mossdeep City and Sootopolis City, the seawater roared violently without pause. An unprecedented torrential rain engulfed the surrounding area, covering a seemingly endless expanse and continuously spreading from this point toward the entire Hoenn region.

Natural disasters appeared frequently alongside the torrential rain.

During this period, tsunamis occurred repeatedly, while floods began ravaging inland areas. The entire Hoenn region was plunged into disaster. Although most people in Hoenn were accustomed to the region’s frequent disasters, a disaster on this scale had almost never appeared in Hoenn’s modern history.

The severe weather also seriously affected the Mossdeep City’s Space Center.
