The residents of this town have found ways to protect themselves during their decades of living here, adapting to the life in Lavender Town. However, passing Trainers and travelers are not so fortunate.
The haunted Lavender Town, filled with the oppressive atmosphere, was a symbol of fear in the hearts of young Trainers, turning their journey through this place into an unpleasant experience…
The younger the person, the more susceptible they are to the atmosphere of Lavender Town, prone to nightmares and terrifying hallucinations. Hence, this town is the least preferred place that the people of Kanto want to reside in.
Of course, this is only for outsiders. The local residents not only have adapted to life here but also believe deeply in the existence of souls, and have deep religious beliefs. They often go to the tower to worship, praying for the well-being and happiness of their Pokémon.
When someone comes to bury or worship Pokémon, these local residents often serve as the best guides. They also utilize this as a source of income for the small town, developing Lavender Town around the distinctive feature of Pokémon Tower.
