Before long, Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks gathered around.
Because Black had been eliminated, peace returned to the future world. The negative energy dispersed, and light once again shone across the land.
After thanking Talot, Trunks made a decision. He would lead the people of this world in rebuilding their new home.
Although there were not many humans left, as long as they were given more than ten years to multiply and recover, it probably would not take too long before humanity on Earth could at least restore the level of civilization from twenty years ago.
In truth, this world no longer had much hope of developing well.
Among the countless timelines, this was merely a failed timeline.
Talot had originally planned to suggest that Trunks go live in the past timeline, since this timeline no longer held much meaning.
But since Trunks had already made up his mind, Talot had no intention of interfering any further.
Goku and Vegeta naturally respected Trunks’s choice.
In their eyes, Trunks had already grown considerably. He had mastered God Ki, and after Talot had taken him to the Sacred World of the Kai to unlock his potential, he now possessed enough strength to stand on his own.
If Earth in this timeline were invaded again in the future, Trunks’s strength alone would probably be enough to stop it.
Everything that needed to be said had already been said, and Talot had no intention of lingering in this lifeless world any longer.
With a raise of his hand, he condensed a surge of the power of space-time, which transformed into a space-time passage before him.
“Since you’ve already decided to stay in this timeline, I’ll be leaving first, Trunks.” Talot waved his hand and said goodbye to Trunks.
“See you again if we get the chance, Trunks.” After saying goodbye to Trunks, Goku followed closely behind Talot and entered the space-time passage.
Vegeta, however, hesitated for a moment and did not immediately enter the space-time passage.
At this moment, he was staring seriously at his son.
Seeing this, Trunks also felt something stir within him. The father and son merely exchanged a look, yet they immediately understood each other.
‘Bang~~!!’
In a flash, Vegeta caught Trunks off guard and threw a punch at him.
Trunks seemed to have anticipated it. He raised his hand and blocked Vegeta’s punch, while also skillfully neutralizing all of its impact.
The father and son smiled at each other.
Vegeta said nothing more. He nodded in approval, turned around, and entered the space-time tunnel.
As Vegeta entered, the space-time tunnel closed.
Talot, Goku, and Vegeta returned to the past timeline.
With that, the Black incident in the future world finally came to an end.

In the past timeline.
West City.
The luxurious estate of the Capsule Corporation.
God of Destruction Beerus and Angel Whis had already been waiting there for quite some time.
As the space-time passage opened,
Talot, Goku, and Vegeta returned.
“Looks like the matter in the future world has already been resolved.” Seeing the three return safely, Beerus had already guessed the outcome in the future timeline.
As expected of the God of Destruction candidate chosen by his counterpart from another timeline.
Once this kid took action, he acted with thunderous decisiveness, resolving everything in such a short amount of time.
“By the way, there’s something we need to tell you. The Zamasu of this world came to our universe not long ago and pressured Master Zuno into revealing the exact location of the Super Dragon Balls. Lord Beerus then destroyed him, so you no longer need to worry about the same thing that happened in the future timeline occurring in this world,” Whis added.
“Huh? Where’s Trunks? Why did you come back, but Trunks didn’t?!” Bulma, worried about her son, only wanted to know how Trunks was doing.
Vegeta explained the situation to Bulma.
After Black was eliminated, Trunks chose to remain in the future timeline and lead the humans there in rebuilding their home.
After all, he did not belong to this timeline. Staying here would only create unnecessary trouble.
“That child, honestly. Since he was already here, he might as well have stayed in this timeline a little longer. Why was he in such a hurry to go back? And Lord Beerus and Whis both…” After learning the full story, Bulma could not help but let out a long sigh.
Even though she had never been to the future timeline, she could imagine just how desolate and ruined it was now.
If possible, she even wanted Trunks to return to this timeline and live here instead of continuing to endure hardship in the future timeline.
But that was something she could only think about.
After all, Trunks was not like Talot, who had received the Grand Priest’s acknowledgment and obtained the right to remain in this space-time.
If he stayed here, Beerus and Whis might turn a blind eye because of their relationship with her, but they could not allow things to continue that way indefinitely.
