In that very instant, Vegeta seized an opening. He leaned backward, planted both hands on the ground, and drove both legs into the Masked Goku Black’s chest with a powerful kick, sending him high into the sky.
Turning defense into offense, Vegeta would not waste this perfect opportunity. He spread his hands, tensed his fingers, and rapidly gathered energy.
The next second, his hands moved rapidly, sending a dense barrage of energy blasts raining toward the Masked Goku Black.
Faced with the barrage, the Masked Goku Black swung the rose-coloured divine blade in his hand, effortlessly cleaving apart and neutralizing every energy blast.
Seeing this, Vegeta’s expression grew even grimmer. Since energy attacks were useless, his only option was to force an opening through hand-to-hand combat and seize victory.
“HAAAAAAH!!!” Vegeta threw his head back and roared. God Ki erupted endlessly from his body, and his power continued to rise with his surging emotions.
“Your strength has risen again? As expected of you, Vegeta. Even if you fall short of Goku, you aren’t far behind.” The Masked Goku Black offered Vegeta high praise, but to Vegeta, it sounded like mockery.
“Shut your mouth!!!” Unable to endure any more, Vegeta flared his aura and charged at the Masked Goku Black.
“BOOOOM!!!!” As the two collided once again, the curtain rose anew on this fierce, earth-shaking battle.
Their figures flickered in and out of sight, weaving through space like phantoms. Every collision made the entire world tremble.
They appeared evenly matched, but that was far from the truth. The Masked Goku Black was treating Vegeta like a toy, playing with him in the palm of his hand.
The moment he had his fill would be the moment this battle ended.
Outside the battlefield.
Watching the fight, Goku was deeply alarmed by how it was unfolding.
This Masked Goku Black who had suddenly appeared possessed such tremendous power…
[This is bad. That guy is still holding back! Vegeta’s going to lose!] Goku clenched his fists, knowing that the situation had become dire.
The Masked Goku Black’s strength far surpassed Vegeta’s, while his own strength was roughly on par with Vegeta’s.
Even if he stepped in, the result would probably be the same.
Unless… he used Kaio-ken to boost his power!
While in Super Saiyan Blue, he could perfectly control not just 15x Kaio-ken, but even 20x.
However, if he used Kaio-ken in his Super Saiyan Blue Evolved state, 10x was his limit.
Moreover, that 10x boost came with severe limitations. Not only was the energy drain immense, but the slightest mistake could cause the explosively increasing God Ki inside him to make his body burst.

On the battlefield high in the sky.
The tide of battle had shifted.
“It’s time to end this boring game, Vegeta.” The Masked Goku Black lost his patience and revealed a portion of his strength.
A heavy punch struck Vegeta squarely in the abdomen, making him spit up stomach acid as his entire body went rigid.
An elbow strike immediately followed, hitting the back of Vegeta’s neck and knocking him out of the sky.
Those two heavy blows had an enormous effect on Vegeta, temporarily leaving him unable to fight.
Before Vegeta could get up, the Masked Goku Black descended from the sky like a meteor and planted a powerful stomp on his back.
That terrifying force left Vegeta unable to move.
“B*stard!!!” Killing intent surged in Vegeta’s eyes. He wanted nothing more than to cut the Masked Goku Black into a thousand pieces.
But now, he was completely overwhelmed. The Masked Goku Black’s power had already exceeded anything he could contend with.
The power of Super Saiyan Rosé 2 far surpassed Super Saiyan Blue Evolved—unless Vegeta could train his Super Saiyan Blue Evolved to Perfected Blue.
“Just as worthless as I thought.” The Masked Goku Black sneered, withdrew his right leg, and delivered a powerful kick that sent Vegeta flying. Raising his hand, he fired a sinister energy blast that struck Vegeta in the abdomen.
The sinister energy blast carried Vegeta hurtling backward, smashing through several ruined structures in succession and traveling another dozen or so kilometers before finally…
“BOOOOM!!!”
A deafening, colossal explosion rose into a towering, fiery mushroom cloud, its searing flames completely engulfing Vegeta.
The battle seemed to have ended.
The sight filled Goku and Trunks with alarm. They had thought the fight would continue a while longer, never imagining it would end like this…
The Masked Goku Black’s power was beyond imagination!
“It’s over,” the Masked Goku Black declared arrogantly.
Just then, Black descended from the sky and landed behind him.
He clapped repeatedly, his face full of disbelief. “As expected of my self from another timeline. Your power is terrifying. This is the strength a god should possess. And this form—it’s a form beyond Super Saiyan Rosé, isn’t it?”
“Sooner or later, you too will reach my level. As for this form, in Saiyan terms, it is Super Saiyan Rosé 2,” the Masked Goku Black replied.
Though his words sounded devoid of emotion, they actually concealed disgust toward his other self.
Disgust at his weakness!
However, now that he had come to this timeline, a plan to advance his own power further had begun to take shape in his mind.
If that plan succeeded, his strength would no longer merely surpass every Goku. He would become the strongest being across countless timelines—the strongest god!!
Just then, within the area of the explosion.
A beam of Vegeta’s deep-blue God Ki, which should have been extinguished, suddenly shot up from the ground amid golden arcs of lightning.
The intensity of this God Ki was unprecedented. Its might was so terrifying that the Earth of this future world faced the possibility of breaking apart.
“This God Ki… It’s Vegeta?! Damn it, shouldn’t he be down already? How can he unleash such powerful divine power?!” Black exclaimed, startled and incredulous.
“No need to panic. This level of power is nothing to worry about.” The Masked Goku Black remained utterly calm and unshaken.
It was as though this impossibly powerful God Ki was beneath his notice.
Elsewhere.
“This God Ki… Is Dad going to use that move?!” Sensing this God Ki, Trunks could not help recalling the new finishing move Vegeta had developed in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
He still remembered its terrifying destructive power.
It was far more frightening than the Final Flash.
This was a supreme killing technique that could truly let one kill enemies above one’s level.
