The sky was shrouded in dark clouds, and an aura of deathly silence permeated everything. Fewer than one in ten living creatures remained.
As far as the eye could see, humanity’s cities had been reduced to endless ruins.
The number of animals on Earth had also plummeted drastically.
The human population was probably fewer than ten thousand.

In front of the enormous, dilapidated dome-shaped building of Hoi-Poi Capsule Corporation.
Ripples spread through space as a breach opened in space-time, and the time machine piloted by Future Trunks appeared in the courtyard.
As the time machine landed and its hatch opened, Future Trunks and Vegeta were the first to leap out. Goku, however, had been jostled around during the journey through time and was left dizzy and nauseated. It took him quite a while to recover before he flew out of the time machine.
“I’m finally… back…” Although not much time might have passed in this timeline, a very long time had actually passed for Future Trunks.
After all, he had spent two years inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber twenty years ago.
Future Trunks’s heart was heavy, but he was no longer lost, because the time had finally come to end this crisis!
At this moment, Goku and Vegeta also truly witnessed just how devastated the future world was.

“His aura is completely different from before… Talot was right. After fighting me, that guy unleashed all the power within my body,” Goku said solemnly, his brows tightly furrowed.
“Black!!!” Fury surged in Trunks’s heart, already on the verge of erupting.
‘Crackle~~!!!!’
A bolt of lightning erupted in the sky and mercilessly struck the ground, kicking up thick clouds of smoke.
At the center of the earth struck by the lightning, Black’s evil figure could be faintly seen.
When the smoke cleared, Black appeared before the three of them.
“I didn’t expect us to meet again so soon. Heh heh heh! Perfect. Since you’re here, I couldn’t ask for anything better. I’ll use you to test my current power.” The corners of Black’s mouth rose into a wicked smile. At this moment, his confidence in his own power had reached its peak.
Although fewer than two days had passed since he returned from his battle with Goku, he was already no longer the same person he had been before.
This was the perfect opportunity to compete with Goku and see which of them was stronger.
“Black!!” Trunks’s aura surged around him. He was already on the verge of erupting.
Just as he was about to transform, Vegeta stopped him.
“Stand aside. That b*stard is my prey! I’ll kill him with my own hands!” Vegeta reprimanded Future Trunks without mercy.

“Warm-up? You ignorant b*stard who only stole Kakarot’s body through underhanded schemes. I can defeat Kakarot, and I can kill you too!!” Enraged at being looked down upon, Vegeta unleashed the God Ki within him and instantly transformed into Super Saiyan Blue.
The God Ki surrounding him then rapidly withdrew into his body. In one breath, he had reached the Perfected Super Saiyan Blue state!
After sensing the God Ki erupting from Vegeta, Black was initially surprised, but immediately afterward, he laughed arrogantly and even recklessly applauded Vegeta to mock his incompetence.
“After a warrior race cloaks itself in a god’s aura, it does indeed look somewhat godlike. But humans will always be humans. Even if they master the power of gods, they can never become true gods. Vegeta, before you die, I’ll show you just how vast the difference is between you and a true god.” Black smiled sinisterly, clenched his fists, and released a long, deep roar.
A sinister and terrifying God Ki erupted from within his body, and an eerie rose-coloured evil light soared into the sky. Bathed in this pillar of evil God Ki, Black completed his transformation.
His current form was precisely Super Saiyan Rosé!
Moreover, because his soul belonged to a god, he did not need to train God Ki at all to wield it with ease. Therefore, the Super Saiyan Rosé form he transformed into was in Perfected form from the very beginning!
“Pink?!” Vegeta was slightly shocked by Black’s transformation.
He had thought Black would transform into the same Super Saiyan Blue form as him. He had never expected his Super Saiyan God transformation to have pink hair.
“Damn it, what sinister God Ki…” Trunks sucked in a cold breath. Now capable of sensing God Ki, he was shocked by the power Black displayed.
This level of strength was already not much weaker than that of his father, Vegeta.
They had put in so much effort to reach their current level, yet Black had achieved it so easily.
“Talot was right. This guy underwent a qualitative transformation after fighting me. He even mastered a Super Saiyan God transformation, and his hair is pink.
