“Hmph~! Don’t get carried away, brat. The moment I made a move, your fate was already sealed. Even if you beg for mercy now and leave this timeline, it’s already too late!!” Killing intent surfaced in Beerus’s eyes, a chilling gleam flashing deep within them.
Just as Beerus said, this battle had already developed into a fight to the death!
Between Talot and Beerus, one of them had to die before this battle would end.
“Beg for mercy? Stop being so full of yourself, Beerus. We Saiyans would rather die in battle than beg for mercy. And do you really think you can destroy me? Perhaps I should thank you. During my battle with you, my mastery over Hakai has improved once again!!” Talot said the very words Beerus least wanted to hear.
This guy really had broken through during his clash with him!
“Then keep proving it with your fists, brat!!” With an angry roar, Beerus raised his hand and fired an energy beam with terrifying destructive power straight at Talot.
Although the destructive might of this energy beam could not compare to the Beerus Ball from earlier, it was not much weaker.
But just then, a change came over Talot’s eyes—an intangible divine essence flashed through his gaze.
Then, something unbelievable happened.
The destructive energy beam stopped advancing. It was frozen in place by Talot’s gaze and began dissipating bit by bit until it was completely annihilated.
This scene left Beerus stunned in place.
Not only Beerus, but even the two Angels and Champa watching the battle were dumbfounded.
“You… You brat actually comprehended Hakai to this level?! That’s impossible…” Beerus said in shock and disbelief.
There was no mistaking this feeling. This brat had used Hakai’s Ultimate Technique!!
He had learned Origin Hakai just by watching him use it once? What kind of joke was this?!
“Beerus, this battle is starting to head in an interesting direction. Don’t you think?” Talot wore a smirk as he admired Beerus’s reaction.
“Brat…!!!” Beerus roared in a deep voice. Talot’s performance had indeed far exceeded his imagination and made him even more aware of just how threatening this brat was.
No matter what price he had to pay, Talot had to die here!
Otherwise, once he grew stronger in the future, even Beerus himself, the strongest God of Destruction, would probably be unable to suppress him.

Elsewhere.
“He saw through the essence of Hakai with just a single glance and comprehended it to the highest level…” Whis was pleasantly surprised by Talot’s performance and extremely satisfied.
As expected of someone chosen by his counterpart from another timeline. Whether in talent or strength, he was unquestionably a monstrous genius.
Back when he had trained God of Destruction Beerus, it had taken Beerus no less than several million, if not tens of millions, of years to master Hakai’s Ultimate Technique.
Talot, on the other hand, had comprehended it after seeing it only once and had even successfully used it.

Whis was even beginning to envy his counterpart in the other timeline.
Why were they able to find an outstanding seedling like Talot as a successor, while in his own timeline he had not even seen a trace of someone like Talot? In the end, he had no choice but to choose between Vegeta and Goku.
Although differences existed between timelines, this gap really was a little too large.
“It seems Lord Beerus’ battle will continue for quite a while longer. Now that he has grasped the source power of Hakai, he is no longer someone a God of Destruction can defeat so easily,” Vados muttered to herself.
As Gods of Destruction, the source of their strength came from the Hakai they had mastered.
Any being that did not understand the essence of Hakai would have both body and soul destroyed in an instant the moment they faced the power of Hakai.
But against someone who had truly mastered Hakai, it was no longer so easy for a God of Destruction to destroy them.
When both sides were wielders of the Power of Destruction, the only things that could determine victory were their own foundations and accumulation, as well as their application of divine techniques.
The outcome of this battle had already become impossible to predict. Even they, as Angels, did not know what would happen in the next second.
God of Destruction Champa, standing nearby, wore an extremely ugly expression. His brows twitched violently, and unwillingness filled his heart.
This battle had already wounded his dignity as a God of Destruction.
It was bad enough that his own brother Beerus had left him so far behind, but now some wild monkey of unknown origin had appeared who had mastered Hakai even better than he had.
Where was he supposed to put his face as a God of Destruction now?
Vados also noticed the change in Champa’s expression, but she merely smiled faintly and did not pay it much attention.
For her, Champa being stimulated was a good thing. It would be even better if this could spur Champa to work harder and improve himself.
After all, as a God of Destruction, Champa’s figure really was too painful to look at.
Moreover, his strength had declined quite a bit because of his obesity.
He had been far too comfortable these past years.

On the battlefield.
Talot and Beerus once again confronted each other, and the atmosphere grew increasingly heavy.
The two invisibly expanded their divine might, causing the entire Null Realm to enter an unprecedented state of turmoil.
Neither of them made a move. They remained wary of each other, guarding against the other’s killing moves.
Under these circumstances, whoever attacked first would mean falling into a disadvantage. Only by remaining still and responding to movement could victory be achieved.
But continuing this stalemate forever was not a solution either.
And so, Talot decided to take the initiative and break the deadlock.
The God Ki surrounding Talot’s body dissipated.
Talot raised his right hand and aimed it at Beerus.
This stance was exactly the same as when Beerus had previously used Origin Hakai on Talot!!
“You’re very familiar with this move, aren’t you, Beerus? Let me see how you’ll neutralize my Hakai!” Talot secretly mobilized the Power of Destruction and said with a teasing smile.
“Brat, are you provoking me? Do you know how many years I’ve been a God of Destruction?!” Beerus’s expression darkened. Talot’s actions were undoubtedly challenging his bottom line.
“Think whatever you want. Hakai!!” Talot had no intention of wasting words and directly unleashed Hakai’s Ultimate Technique.
As Talot used Origin Hakai, Beerus’s body suddenly trembled, and intense shock flashed through his eyes.
“You brat…!!” Feeling the God of Destruction origin within his body becoming restless, Beerus’s mind shook, and his expression became extremely unnatural.
With his mastery over Hakai, no one’s Origin Hakai should have been able to affect him.
Yet the Origin Hakai Talot unleashed had actually caused the slightest impact on his origin power.
Although it was only the faintest trace of an impact, what it represented was extraordinary.
Talot already possessed the ability to kill him.
“Haaah~~!!!” Beerus let out a loud roar as the Power of Destruction within him surged out of his body like raging waves.
Talot’s Origin Hakai was neutralized by Beerus’s sudden eruption, and Talot himself was also affected by the abruptly expanding destructive God Ki.
