Dull explosive sounds erupted through the air.

‘Boom~~!!!!’ The airborne Goku crashed straight into a distant cliff, his entire body embedded in the rock wall.
Black’s cold, piercing eyes locked onto Goku as he raised one hand and gathered energy.
Just as he was about to launch his attack, he suddenly felt an astonishing suction force coming from behind him, causing his attention to be diverted.
“Haaaaah~~!!” Goku did not know what was happening, but he would not miss such a good opportunity. His entire body transformed into a golden aurora as he charged out and delivered a heavy, forceful kick at Black.
‘Bang~~!!!’ With an explosive sound, Black was sent flying backward.
He struggled to stabilize himself, but the pull from the vast Time and Space distortion void behind him made it impossible for him to remain in this timeline any longer.
“What’s going on?” Only then did Goku notice that something was wrong.
They had been fighting just fine, and he had not even used his full strength in that kick.
Yet in his current state, Black was completely unable to stabilize himself.
“Damn it. The Time and Space distortion is returning to its original state. I can no longer remain in this timeline.” Black struggled as he flew backward. His eyes swept over the area below and happened to lock onto Future Trunks and Future Trunks’s time machine.
[A time machine? As long as I destroy that thing, no one will ever be able to stop me again.] With a thought, Black forcibly regained control of his body and swiftly fired an energy blast from his hand.
‘Boom~~!!!’ The energy blast struck the time machine with perfect accuracy, triggering a massive explosion.
The expressions of Future Trunks and Bulma changed drastically at the sight.
No one had expected Black to attack the time machine.
“It has been an honor to fight you, Goku. But from now on, we will never meet again.” Black grinned, then gave up resisting, allowing the pull of the Time and Space distortion’s black hole to devour him.
As he disappeared, the Time and Space distortion’s black hole vanished as well.
Everything returned to calm, as though the anomaly had never occurred.
Goku stared in the direction where Black had disappeared, his expression turning grave.
During his battle with Black just now, he had noticed the changes in his opponent. That fellow was far more complicated than he had imagined.
However, had Goku brought out his full strength, he should still have been able to deal with him.
He had to admit that having the battle end like this left him somewhat furious.
Had he known, he would have used his full strength from the very beginning and kept the other man from leaving.
The very next second after this thought arose, another space-time rift opened in the air a hundred meters directly ahead of him.
