After exchanging a few pleasantries, Talot finally brought Bulma and 18 onto the life planet within his storage pocket dimension.
Immediately afterward, he instructed the Z Fighters, “When you become strong enough one day to travel to other timelines and worlds, or break through the barriers between worlds, perhaps we’ll have a chance to meet again… Of course, it’s also possible that Bulma might invent a machine capable of crossing between two timelines.”
In response, the Z Fighters naturally gave their own answers.
Led by Goku, Vegeta, Son Gohan, and Piccolo, they explicitly stated that one day in the future, they would definitely become powerful enough to surpass this world. They only hoped that when they met Talot again, he wouldn’t be the one getting shocked by their strength.
Hearing these words, Talot smiled calmly. After waving goodbye, he stepped into the space-time passage.
As he entered, the gateway of the space-time tunnel closed behind him. Talot immediately extended his consciousness into his storage pocket dimension.
Only after confirming that Bulma and 18 were safe did he withdraw his attention.
In truth, Talot had already conducted numerous experiments beforehand. Only after ensuring that everything was absolutely foolproof did he dare to proceed in this manner.
…
Traveling through the space-time tunnel, Talot continuously advanced in the designated direction by relying on the coordinates he had left in the main timeline and the guidance provided by that trace of Angel power from Whis.
Following the space-time corridor in search of the main timeline’s world, he encountered quite a few unusual timelines along the way.
However, like the future timeline, all of these worlds had diverged toward different futures due to various reasons.
For example, in one particularly interesting timeline, when Goku’s group fought Vegeta on Earth for the first time, they were killed by Great Ape Vegeta and Nappa. The future of that timeline came to be ruled by Vegeta. In a sense, it was a failed timeline.
There was another timeline where Goku was killed by Frieza on Namek, all the Z Fighters were wiped out, and Frieza completely exterminated the Saiyan race once and for all.
There was also a timeline that had reached the Android Saga, where Super Perfect Cell, after evolving into his perfect form, completely annihilated the Z Fighters, leaving only Krillin alive.
The future development of that timeline was actually rather interesting.
After wiping out all the Z Fighters, Super Perfect Cell believed himself invincible and the strongest being in the universe. Under this extreme arrogance, he left Earth, declaring that when he returned next time, he would blow the planet up. He even told Krillin to train and become stronger, preferably strong enough to defeat him.
But how could that possibly happen?
The bizarre part was that the Z Fighters who had reported to the Other World could originally have been revived using the Namek’s Dragon Balls. Yet, who could have imagined that they would refuse resurrection?
Goku firmly believed that each generation should handle its own responsibilities. They had already done everything they could. Since they could not eliminate Cell, they would leave him to the next generation. Thus, they chose to remain in the afterlife, leaving the problem of Super Perfect Cell to the living experts of the universe.
Left with no other choice, Krillin took up the burden of Earth.
More than half a year after Super Perfect Cell left, Goten was born. Growing up alongside Trunks, the two began receiving Krillin’s guidance.
Because both children possessed tremendous potential, their strength improved at an astonishing rate.
In the end, Krillin accomplished an unbelievably incredible educational feat, enabling Trunks and Goten to break through to Super Saiyan 2 at the ages of eight and seven respectively.
And in the end, those two little Super Saiyan 2 brats actually managed to destroy Super Perfect Cell!
Had he not witnessed it with his own eyes, who could have imagined such a thing?
It made Talot realize a truth: if you don’t court disaster, disaster won’t come. With Cell’s downfall, Goten and Trunks became the protagonists of that timeline.
In the end, Talot could only sigh that among the countless timelines, anything was possible. These timelines that had embarked on new historical trajectories because the main cast had died were collectively known as alternative timelines.
Because the course of their worlds had already completely deviated from their originally designated paths of destiny.
…
As Talot continued advancing, he came across yet another incredibly bizarre timeline.
Everyone on Earth, including Goku and Vegeta, had been absorbed by Super Buu.
After absorbing everyone, Super Buu directly evolved into Ultimate Buu, instantly becoming the strongest existence in the universe. In the entire universe, there was no longer anyone capable of opposing him.
Yet another timeline that had strayed from the proper path and gone down a crooked path.
After seeing this, Talot no longer lingered casually. It was only when he arrived before a particularly special alternate timeline that he stopped once again.
Ordinary timelines could no longer attract his attention.
But this timeline was different!
“This world… could it be?!!” Looking at the scene displayed within the space-time light screen before him, Talot was slightly startled.
He was not unfamiliar with this world. In fact, it was deeply etched into his memory.
The scenes being played within the space-time light screen were precisely the events taking place in the Dragon Ball GT timeline.
The Shadow Dragon Crisis!
At this moment, in that timeline, Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta had fused in order to defeat the Shadow Dragons, becoming the strongest warrior in all dimensions—Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta!
That terrifying aura even transcended space-time itself, reaching the space-time corridor and indirectly affecting other timeline.
Even someone as powerful as Talot could not help but be moved after sensing the heaven-defying aura erupting from Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta.
“What incredible aura. No wonder he’s hailed as the strongest warrior in all dimensions, especially this version of Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta… This aura is so overwhelming that even a God of Destruction would have to treat it with caution,” Talot exclaimed in astonishment.
The power of Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta far exceeded his expectations. This pure bloodline power could even be called the number one being beneath the God of Destruction.
With a mortal body, he rivaled the gods. Even some God of Destruction from other universes were not as powerful as the Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta before him.
The intensity of this aura was undoubtedly the greatest shock Talot had experienced so far.
His interest piqued, Talot remained before the Dragon Ball GT timeline, observing the events unfolding within it through the space-time light screen.
As a transmigrator, he was very familiar with the subsequent plot developments of the Dragon Ball GT timeline. After all, this timeline was also known as the most tear-inducing timeline.
In the original work’s storyline, because he played around too much, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta’s fusion time expired. After the fusion ended, Omega Shenron turned the tables. If not for Goku’s unconventional resurrection at the critical moment with the help of Shenron, gathering the spirit energy of the entire universe and unleashing the largest and strongest Spirit Bomb in history to destroy Omega Shenron, the entire world would likely have been destroyed by him.
After all, the very purpose of Omega Shenron’s birth was to drag the world into destruction, then recreate a brand-new world amid that destruction, thereby releasing all Negative Energy.
“Come to think of it, what exactly is the power of the Shadow Dragons? It’s neither Ki nor God Ki… This kind of extreme negative energy is rather interesting.” Talot rubbed his chin with his right hand and began to develop an intense interest in the Negative Energy wielded by Omega Shenron.
He had a premonition that this energy was somewhat similar to Bardock’s evil power, yet not entirely the same.
He wondered what kind of changes would occur if this energy were applied to a Saiyan.
Following his instincts, Talot decided that before returning to his own main timeline, he would take a trip into this GT timeline.
After all, he had already been away for so long. Staying a bit longer in another timeline would not matter.
Activating the power of space-time, Talot opened a passage connected to the GT timeline and entered it.
