DBEPV Chapter 294 A Fateful Battle Separated by Several Years! (Part 1)

As Vegeta arrived, the atmosphere on the platform changed rapidly.

Popo and Dende instinctively stepped aside.

They had already vaguely guessed what was about to happen next.

Goku stepped forward, maintaining his Super Saiyan Full Power form, his emerald-green eyes fixed on Vegeta.

Vegeta showed no fear as he met Goku’s gaze, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly.

Their eyes collided, and the invisible pressure spreading from them enveloped the entire Lookout, making the atmosphere across the vast platform increasingly heavy.

The two sides fell into a standoff, neither willing to be the first to break the silence.

Only after a long while did Vegeta finally shatter the silence.

“Super Saiyan Full Power, huh? Looks like your training went well, Kakarot.”

With his keen eyes, just a few moments of observation were enough for him to determine the level of strength possessed by the Super Saiyan Full Power Goku before him.

Very strong, but only to that extent. He still hadn’t reached a level capable of surpassing him.

After his battle with Talot, his understanding of Super Saiyan 2 had deepened even further, and his base form’s power level had increased once again. The current Kakarot was, at most, comparable to the Vegeta of two days ago.

“Looks like you haven’t been idle these past two days either. Compared to the last time we met, you’ve changed quite a bit. But constantly pushing your body through excessive training can sometimes cause your strength to stagnate or even decline, Vegeta,” Goku said, having naturally noticed the changes in Vegeta as well.

Although there was no obvious difference on the surface, he understood Vegeta. During these two days, this guy had undoubtedly been training nonstop.

“I don’t need you reminding me, Kakarot,” Vegeta shot back arrogantly.

Immediately afterward, Vegeta stretched his body and assumed a fighting stance.

In a single thought, the S-Cells within him stirred. Golden flaming aura swept across his entire body as he instantly entered Super Saiyan Full Power.

“Let’s settle this, Kakarot! I’ve waited far too long for this moment!!” Vegeta shouted, his fighting spirit soaring.

Ever since their battle on Earth all those years ago, he had never crossed fists with Kakarot again.

And ever since then, it was as though some kind of curse had been placed upon him. Kakarot was always one step ahead, even beating him to the Super Saiyan transformation.

Now, fate had decreed that the two of them would battle once more.

Both of them had grown stronger, and compared to their first battle, the outcome would be different!

“I’ve been waiting a long time for this battle too, Vegeta.” Infected by Vegeta’s fighting spirit, flames seemed to ignite within Goku’s eyes, and his entire body became filled with excitement.

He had already simulated this battle countless times through meditation while training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

To be honest, he wasn’t completely confident that he could defeat Vegeta.

After all, Vegeta’s power level and fighting style spoke for themselves. Even if he won, he would have to pay a painful price.

Just then, something unexpected happened.

Grrrrumble~~!!

A series of loud noises erupted from Goku’s stomach.

The rumbling instantly shattered the heavy atmosphere on the Lookout. Hearing the sound, Vegeta was completely dumbfounded. He became somewhat irritated, yet couldn’t really say anything.

He had been in the zone, and then this had to happen.

Seeing Vegeta’s reaction, Goku scratched his head embarrassedly and laughed.

“Uh… Vegeta, how about we postpone our match for a little while? Let me fill my stomach first, then I’ll fight you.”

Vegeta’s mouth twitched, and he felt utterly speechless.

At a time like this, what could he even say?

“Hmph! Hurry up.” With a cold snort, Vegeta immediately canceled his Super Saiyan Full Power transformation and stood off to the side with his arms crossed.

After receiving Vegeta’s approval, Goku hurried over to Popo and, looking embarrassed, asked him to quickly prepare something for him to eat.

Hearing this, Popo nodded. He had actually prepared everything long ago.

Under Popo’s control, plate after plate of food was brought out one after another.

Seeing this, Goku no longer hesitated and immediately began eating.

Son Gohan at his side was the same. Ever since he had started training, his appetite had become even greater.

The two of them swept through the food like a whirlwind, leaving Dende and Popo standing nearby drenched in sweat.

Dende was so shocked that he didn’t even dare speak, while Popo took out a handkerchief and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.

They could eat even more than he had imagined.

He remembered that the food reserves he had prepared for Goku and Son Gohan were greater than the provisions he had prepared for Vegeta and Future Trunks.

Yet it had only been a year and four months. It felt as though the two of them had been starving for an eternity, like hungry ghosts reincarnated…

Nearby, Vegeta’s gaze occasionally swept over Goku and Son Gohan.

Of course, what interested him wasn’t the way they were eating.

Rather, it was the fact that throughout the entire meal, neither Goku nor Son Gohan showed the slightest aura leakage from their Super Saiyan 1 state.

They had completely mastered Super Saiyan Full Power.

[Their control over their power is even more refined than I expected. It seems Kakarot and his son put in a tremendous amount of work during their training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. However, such a minor difference still won’t be enough to defeat me.] Vegeta thought to himself.

Before long, Goku and Son Gohan finally swept every last bit of food from the table clean.

Having eaten and drunk his fill, Goku had finally returned to his peak condition. He stood up and moved around slightly to aid digestion. After feeling that all the food in his stomach had been fully digested, he walked over to Vegeta. The smile on his face quickly disappeared, replaced by intense seriousness.

“Sorry to keep you waiting, Vegeta. We can begin now.” Goku was completely different from before. It was obvious that he was fully prepared for battle.

The upcoming fight would be far more than mere sparring. He intended to go all out and display the full results of his training.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment the entire time, Kakarot. This time, don’t let anything unexpected happen again.” As his words fell, Vegeta slowly rose into the air, with Goku following closely behind.
