“Yes, Lord Arceus, is there a problem?”
“What problem? A war in a kingdom in the East Blue, it is at least several months’ voyage from here. Did you accept this mission so that you can go and bury their dead bodies?”
No one could predict the outbreak of war, especially in the world of pirates. Reputation is important when working in the Underworld. Presently, the Beasts Pirates boasted a 100% completion rate on missions.
Queen was responsible for accepting the majority of missions, and not long ago, he accepted the military assistance request issued by Cozia Kingdom from East Blue.
Originally, this wasn’t part of their regular mission requests. However, Queen, without paying attention to the location due to the attractive price, directly accepted the mission.
“Well… I think they should be able to hold out for some time.”
“Do you think a country capable of holding its ground would urgently seek costly aid?”
The reason they sought aid was because they were no match for their opponent. Arceus thought if the Cozia Kingdom managed to hold on for ten days or half a month, it would be acceptable, but considering normal sailing speeds, they would be just in time to bury the dead after three or four months.
No, even burying the dead might not be possible. It would take at least half a year for a large fleet to reach there since the Beasts Pirates were not the Marines, unable to station troops worldwide.

“Shayna has already gone out with a fleet, King has other things to do here, Olga is currently on Sabaody Archipelago, Zeraora and Setsuna have returned to Zou Island, and Mandrell is on Fishman Island. Do you want me to lead the team, or should I have Kaido do it?”
Since Queen accepted the mission at the last minute, most other officers don’t have the time to handle it. Both Kaido and Arceus have some time, but a country in East Blue wasn’t worth their direct involvement.
It wasn’t something that money could solve; unless there is an exceptionally high amount involved, they wouldn’t bother with such missions.
Queen himself carried the reputation of Plague Calamity. Although his bounty keeps rising, neither Kaido nor Arceus planned to let him stay holed up in Wano Country forever.
He needs to go out; it’s been years since he has been relatively inactive. In the eyes of ordinary members, his status was declining rapidly. This opportunity came at just the right time.

As long as their heads remain intact, they won’t die even if their bodies are destroyed, because Arceus only modified that part, while the rest is a special mechanical body made using Arceus Steel.
However, these Genesects can still maintain their original speed, so they will be dispatched as a team to accompany Queen on missions.
“Five units? I understand, Lord Arceus. Leave it to me, I’ll handle this matter. The enemy this time is an old acquaintance.”
The invaders were Germa 66, led by Vinsmoke Judge, who is Queen’s former colleague, although their relationship is not as amicable now.
With Queen’s assessment of his current strength, plus the five Genesects, he is confident about this operation.
“Take Yamato with you and let her gain experience in this battle.”
“Lord Arceus, are you sure you’re not coming with us this time?”
Hearing Arceus’ arrangement, Queen was suddenly doubtful. Normally, Arceus would never entrust Yamato to him so readily, yet Arceus also showed no intention of going along, which seemed quite strange.
“Yes, I’m not going. She has grown up. I can’t keep watching over her all the time. Get ready quickly. You better pray that Cozia Kingdom holds out a bit longer. Oh, and there’s a business deal in the North Blue. Stop by on your way back.”

Even when Yamato stood on the back of Genesect and left with Queen, Arceus didn’t follow. This made Queen feel very strange, and Yamato seemed a bit surprised too, although she was excited to go out on an adventure.
But she kept looking around, as if searching for something.
“Uncle Queen, Dad really didn’t come?”
“Lord Arceus said so. But Miss Yamato, let’s discuss something. Can you not call me ‘uncle’? I’m only a few years older than King and Shayna.”
“No, you look much older than them.”
Queen felt a stab in his heart, but there was nothing he could do. Although he didn’t have to address her as “Oni Princess” like the ordinary members, he couldn’t force Yamato to change her way of addressing him.
“Never mind, Miss Yamato. Let me describe the specifics of this mission to you. We’ve been invited by the Cozia Kingdom to fight against the invaders, Germa 66. Their leader, Vinsmoke Judge, is an old acquaintance of mine.
He’s not particularly strong himself, but through research on the Lineage Factor, he created a special combat suit. You’ve probably read that comic Warrior of the Sea. The abilities of the combat suits mentioned in it are real.”
Queen started sharing the information he had, although it’s unclear how much Yamato was truly taking in.
And as Arceus said, he really didn’t go with them this time, but he had made other preparations.
