GGS-Chapter 1141 Urgency

Having entered the ordinary space where the coffin resided, Su Jing commenced the process of refining the Dragon Soul and integrating it into his own being.

For the next two days, he remained secluded, hidden from the world. Faint groans emitted from Su Jing’s presence, accompanied by the pitiful screams of the Dragon Soul and the sound of intense clashes and the turmoil within the Ordinary Space were beyond imagination.

After the tumultuous two days had passed, an eerie silence settled in the space. Su Jing, appearing pale and fatigued, emerged from the ordinary space. The once ominous coffin had shattered, devoid of any lingering malevolence. It had transformed into a mundane coffin, devoid of its previous eerie aura.

With a slightly pale complexion and a weariness evident in his countenance, Su Jing’s steps were feeble. However, his eyes sparkled with joy, reflecting the sense of achievement he felt.

Making his way to the fourth-floor gym, Su Jing positioned himself in front of the punching power testing machine. Without relying on the Dragon-Elephant Law Seal or employing any specific boxing techniques, he threw a direct punch.

“Roar!”

Behind him, a colossal phantom of a dragon seemed to materialize, its aura skyrocketing. With a resounding boom, the punch target burst into fragments, propelled far away, while the test data soared to 4000 Kilograms— the upper limit of the punch value that the punching power testing machine could measure.

Previously, relying solely on the power of the Phoenix Nest, his punching power had only reached 2500 Kilograms. Now, it had unexpectedly surged to over 4000 Kilograms.

Curious about the extent of his progress, Su Jing decided to test his spiritual force as well. To his astonishment, it had surpassed the 1500 Jin (750 kg) mark, having grown significantly from its previous 1000 Jin (500 Kg) of spiritual control. The progress was nothing short of remarkable.

Furthermore, with the Beast Soul now integrated within him, Su Jing possessed the ability to directly and effectively combat the Undead, even without the aid of the Angel Badge. It served as an additional trump card in his arsenal.

Moreover, the once malevolent Beast Soul, now refined and assimilated in his body, had shed its evil nature. It had become an integral part of Su Jing— a soul that was no longer deemed wicked.

Even if Su Jing continued to emit the Angel’s Holy Light, it would no longer have any adverse effects on the Dragon Soul.

Savoring the sensation of newfound strength coursing through his veins, Su Jing relished the sense of accomplishment. However, he didn’t allow himself to become complacent.

He ventured back into the Phoenix Nest, utilizing The Way of Silence to recalibrate his body, restore his energy, consolidate his current power, and strive for even greater strength.

In the days that followed, Su Jing balanced his time between sorting through the garbage and training. Every minute and second held immense value to him, and with the aid of The Way of Silence, he no longer required sleep.

The garbage was swiftly organized and cleaned, and Su Jing unearthed several valuable items along the way— they were a Zen-like Buddha sculpture, exquisite antiques, and sizable pieces of wood surpassing even golden silk nanmu in quality.

Although Su Jing had no intention of personally developing these finds, he entrusted them to Zheng Nan for management, reaping substantial monetary gains and Recycle Degree Points from them.

However, amidst the discoveries, he failed to stumble upon any precious treasures capable of further enhancing his strength which caused a slight disappointment in his heart.

On the night when the upper hemisphere of the Garbage Station cleared up again, Su Jing came across some disturbing news. Africa had been struck by a large-scale mysterious death event, claiming the lives of over Two Million People.

The cause of death remained unknown, but the victims shared a common trait: Pale Faces, Emaciated Bodies, it looked as though their life force had been drained away. The situation was undeniably eerie, leading some to speculate the emergence of a new infectious disease.

Upon perusing the news, Su Jing’s brow furrowed in concern. An infectious disease? He doubted it. It was more likely the handiwork of the Undead Creature.

Previously, Su Jing had remained vigilant and occasionally encountered reports of mysterious deaths, but the numbers were relatively small and sporadic, making it challenging to establish a clear between their death and the Undead. However, this recent incident left little room for doubt.

“It appears that the Undead creature is no longer hiding.”

At first glance, this revelation seemed like a positive development, as Su Jing finally knew the whereabouts of the Undead creature. However, employing his intellect, he realized that things were far from simple.

The Undead creature wasn’t acting blindly. Its decision to expose itself indicated a level of confidence. It might be willing to take the risk of exposure in order to grow stronger.

After all, Undead creatures could absorb yang energy by killing people, and the thought of it gaining immense power by slaughtering millions was unsettling.

Su Jing briefly entertained the idea of going on a killing spree to eliminate the Undead creature. However, he quickly dismissed the notion. Getting close to it would alert the creature to his presence.

If it sensed danger, it would undoubtedly flee, making it nearly impossible for Su Jing to track it down again. Moreover, if the creature lured him away, it could return to the Super Universe Garbage Station, seize the treasures within, or even harm his loved ones.

If it turned China into a graveyard through indiscriminate killings, he would deeply regret his impulsive actions.

Chasing after the creature wouldn’t end well. Exposing his lair would be a foolish move, and he couldn’t afford to act impatiently and lose control of the situation.

However, sitting idly by wasn’t an option either. The fact that the Undead creature had revealed itself meant that Su Jing’s time was limited.

Thankfully, the Tokyo Olympics, which Su Jing had been eagerly anticipating, was about to commence, providing him with a glimmer of hope.

“After integrating the Beast Soul, my strength has experienced a substantial surge for a while. Now, it has mostly stabilized, and further progress is challenging. However, there is still significant room for improvement with the Angel Badge. The Sydney Olympics should offer a substantial boost to my Spiritual Force,” Su Jing contemplated.

Su Jing couldn’t take the initiative to attack now, so he had to find ways to quickly increase his own bargaining power.

Su Jing contacted Luo Qilin and tasked him with investigating the region in Africa where the mysterious deaths had occurred. However, this time he emphasized the need for caution and instructed Luo Qilin not to get too close.

If the Undead creature detected his presence once again, there might be no chance of return. Su Jing himself continued to bide his time.
