GGS-Chapter 1121 Surprise

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

“This scene is simply extravagant,” Qin Xulan, Liu Qing, and the others felt that it was too extravagant. Gathering so many superstars from afar just to sing a few lines of a song seemed like overkill. Could it invite bad luck or heavenly punishment?

The audience present at the venue and those watching the livestream shared similar feelings of enjoyment and excitement mixed with a sense of unworthiness. It was like winning small prizes in the lottery being nearly impossible, and suddenly, one day, buying dozens of tickets and winning them all.

While that would certainly bring joy, it would also create an unreal feeling in their hearts, and they would feel as if it were a dream. They might even worry that they had exhausted all their luck in this lifetime, leaving only misfortune for the next.

The journalists present at the scene were naturally more excited, snapping photos and filming non-stop. However, some soon realized that something was amiss.

Some journalists sent the news back to their news agencies, but instead of praise, they received scolding from their editors: “What have you done? Did you make a mistake? Big Brother is filming in the United States and hasn’t returned to China. How could he be attending Su Jing’s concert? And Nalan Fei is currently recording a show on Mango TV. Our team interviewed her just a few minutes ago. Did she fly thousands of kilometers in just a few minutes?”

“But they are really here. Look at the photos and videos I took.”

“How is that possible? Did you take them live?”

“Yes.”

“What on earth is going on?”

The bewildered journalists, news agencies, and audience members joined the investigation, only to be shocked to find that the majority of the superstar performers at the concert had alibis proving they weren’t present. Everything became even more bewildering.

Mango TV was the designated location for Nalan Fei’s program recording, but during a break, she seized the opportunity to lend her assistance to Su Jing in creating a concert video.

Recognizing that the program recording was not pressing, Nalan Fei decided to allocate her time at midnight to work on the relatively straightforward song with Su Jing.

To Nalan Fei’s surprise, Su Jing insisted on assigning her his own staff members to handle the filming for the concert video. Nalan Fei found it peculiar since she believed that her own team could handle the task easily.

However, since the request came from Su Jing himself, Nalan Fei reluctantly agreed. She reasoned that the inconvenience would be on Su Jing’s side, and she was content to take it easy.

Just after her performance concluded, Nalan Fei’s manager approached her, presenting her with a phone. Glancing at the device, Nalan Fei noticed it was a call from her friend, prompting her to answer right away.

“Fei’zi, weren’t you supposed to be recording a program on Mango TV?” A woman’s voice inquired, laced with doubt.

“Yes,” Nalan Fei responded.

“Don’t lie to me. You were clearly present at Su Jing’s concert in person.”

“No, I genuinely was at Mango TV. Where did you hear that I personally attended Su Jing’s concert? It must be a rumor,” Nalan Fei asserted.

“What rumor? I recorded a Live Stream video. Take a look for yourself.” The woman on the other end promptly sent the video.

Nalan Fei opened the video and her eyes widened in shock, her expression reminiscent of encountering a ghost.

In the Live Stream recording, the woman on the stage, singing with a remarkable resemblance to Nalan Fei in appearance, mannerisms, and even voice, left her utterly stunned. Nalan Fei found herself speechless, muttering, “What… what’s going on?”

Meanwhile, in a recording studio, a seductive female singer had just finished assisting with a music video. Su Jing’s team also handled the recording for her. As they wrapped up, the manager hurriedly approached her, switching on the computer to play a video recording for the singer.

“Why are you in such a rush to show me something?” The singer asked, feeling perplexed in her heart.

“It’s a Live Stream recording from Su Jing’s concert,” The manager explained.

“What’s so special about it? I only sang a few lines…” The singer casually remarked, assuming the manager wanted her to review her own performance. However, upon witnessing the content of the video, her eyes widened, and she exclaimed, “What’s happening?”

Simultaneously, numerous celebrities who had assisted Su Jing during the concert began to realize that something was amiss. Whether through their own observation or inquiries from concerned friends, they gradually uncovered the unsettling truth.

It became apparent that this seemingly straightforward video assistance had a far more perplexing dimension to it.

Within the concert venue, following the performance of “Beijing Welcomes You,” the superstar celebrities stood side by side, refusing to depart from the stage. Both the audience and reporters remained in a state of astonishment.

How could so many stars, who indisputably had evidence of their absence, suddenly materialize here? Instead of feeling honored, a sense of unease washed over them, akin to watching a horror movie unfold before their eyes.

However, a few individuals either lacked common sense or were too caught up in the exhilaration of the celebrities’ unexpected presence. Oblivious to the anomaly, a young man in the front row took advantage of the security’s momentary distraction and boldly climbed onto the stage.

With a bouquet of flowers in hand, he eagerly approached the nearest superstar, the revered Song Queen, known for her nationwide fame. Upon reaching her, he ecstatically handed her the flowers.

To his dismay, it appeared that the Song Queen couldn’t perceive him at all. She continued to stand there, wearing a smile and occasionally executing simple gestures.

On closer inspection, the young man noticed something peculiar. Whether it was due to lighting or some other inexplicable factor, the Song Queen before him appeared faint and hazy, resembling a mere shadow.

Yet, the young man had little time to ponder the enigma further. Two security guards swiftly closed in on him, enclosing him within their grasp. Filled with anxiety, he disregarded everything else and passed the flowers directly to the Song Queen.

Determined to reach Su Jing, whom he remained an ardent fan of, he desired a handshake or some form of interaction. However, just as he handed over the flowers and prepared to make his move, an extraordinarily bizarre scene unfolded before his eyes.

He felt no physical contact with the Song Queen’s body, and the flowers passed through her, thudding audibly as they fell to the ground.

The young man stood frozen in disbelief, his eyes fixed on the flowers beneath Song Queen’s feet. To his amazement, the flowers and Song Queen’s heels occupied the same space, yet they did not collide. They coexisted without any interaction and it was as if they existed in separate dimensions.

The entire audience was equally taken aback by this sight. The information they had received was accurate— Song Queen was indeed absent. Could the figure before their eyes be a ghost?
