GGS-Chapter 1111 Capital City Part 2

On this day, Wang Zhuo went to Su Jing’s house to visit him and this was already his second visit. The recent developments had made him excited, and he wanted to share this excitement with Su Jing.

However, for several consecutive days, he couldn’t reach Su Jing as his calls went unanswered.

When Wang Zhuo saw Shi Qing, he asked her about Su Jing’s whereabouts and Shi Qing informed him that Su Jing was not at home but mentioned that he would return today.

“This guy, what’s he busy with at such a critical moment? What could be more important than the situation between the Galactic Corporation Group and the United States? Going out is one thing, but why does he keep his phone off all the time?” Wang Zhuo expressed his annoyance.

“I don’t know exactly what he’s busy with,” Shi Qing also replied with a helpless expression on her face. Fortunately, Su Jing still contacts her every day, or else she would worry too.

“I’m leaving now; there’s still work to do at the company. When he comes back, tell him to contact me,” Wang Zhuo said.

Since Su Jing was not home, Wang Zhuo decided not to enter the house and prepared to leave in his car. Just then, a Red Galactic 001 drove up from the distance.

Both Wang Zhuo and Shi Qing’s eyes lit up when they saw this car as not many people can afford a Galactic 001, and driving it here, apart from Shi Qing and Wang Zhuo, it almost certainly meant Su Jing was inside that car.

The sports car quickly arrived, and as the car window rolled down, Su Jing’s smiling face appeared in front of their eyes.

“Brother Zhuo, what a coincidence,” Su Jing said.

“What coincidence? I’ve come here hundreds of times, how can this be a coincidence” Wang Zhuo jokingly scolded, saying, “We were just talking about you. If you had come back a little later, I would have left.”

“Why did you come here so many times? Now that our Galactic Corporation Group is in a good situation, you can relax,” Su Jing said with a smile.

“It’s true that we can relax for now. The whole company is having a celebration tonight, but our largest shareholder is being a no-show at the company. So, tell me, where have you been these past few days? What could be more important than the situation between our Galactic Corporation Group and the United States?” Wang Zhuo asked as he looked at Su Jing.

Little did he know that it was Su Jing who was responsible for the Galactic Corporation Group successfully avoiding the catastrophe of US suppression.

“It’s a long story, and now that we’re done with all that, let’s not dwell on it. Come inside; it’s a joyful day. Let’s have a few drinks,” Su Jing said, deliberately changing the subject.

“Save your drinking capacity for the party tonight,” Wang Zhuo suggested.

“That won’t be a problem, let’s have a few drinks now, and we can continue at the party tonight,” Su Jing said with a smile.

Wang Zhuo couldn’t resist Su Jing’s request, and besides, he was genuinely happy, so he didn’t refuse. Shi Qing was also delighted for Su Jing, so she joined in and had a couple of drinks as well.

In the evening, Su Jing, accompanied by Shi Qing and Wang Zhuo, attended the company’s celebratory party. The atmosphere was very lively, and all the employees had a sense of relief and vitality in their bodies as they felt as if they had survived a great ordeal.

In the eyes of everyone, Su Jing and the Galactic Corporation Group seemed almost invincible, ready to embrace a prosperous future. However, Su Jing had broader concerns for himself and his company at this moment.

He understood that one must consider long-term consequences and not wait for the danger to strike before taking action. Moreover, the current situation had escalated to a point where it could potentially impact the global geopolitical landscape.

If a world war were to break out, leading to a nuclear conflict, it would be catastrophic. The Recycle Degree Points that he had accumulated after all this time would plummet, and even the Super Universe Garbage Station wouldn’t be able to upgrade.

Therefore, Su Jing felt it was necessary to safeguard the security of the entire planet. The next day, he took the prepared objects he took from the garbage and headed to Capital City.

He had already purchased an airplane recently, making travel much more convenient and efficient with his now personal airplane.

As soon as he disembarked from the plane, two middle-aged men in military uniforms were waiting for him. One of them respectfully said, “Mr. Su, Chairman has sent us to pick you up.”

“Hello,” Su Jing nodded in acknowledgment.

The flight attendants, pilots, and airport staff who witnessed this scene were all amazed. They recognized one of the middle-aged men as a high-ranking general. It was unbelievable that he personally came to pick up Su Jing.

The level of respect and influence Su Jing commanded at present was truly remarkable. Moreover, the mention of the Chairman left them wondering which Chairman Su Jing was going to meet.

Rumors of Su Jing’s powerful background had long been circulated on the internet, but now it was evident that his influence was beyond ordinary. It seemed that he had reached a point where he no longer felt the need to conceal it.

The two military personnel drove Su Jing to a highly classified military weapons research facility. This was no ordinary research institute and only a select few knew of its existence, let alone gained access to enter it.

As they got out of the car, a Square Faced Middle Aged Man in his forties or fifties, wearing a military uniform, approached them. His attitude was quite polite, and if any outsider witnessed this scene, they would be astonished.

Even the two middle-aged men who had brought Su Jing here, along with the others following behind the Square Faced Middle Aged Man, showed a hint of surprise in their eyes as they witnessed this scene.

Even someone lacking common sense would understand the significance of this encounter. The level of respect shown to a young man like Su Jing by the Square-Faced Middle-Aged Man was remarkable.

“Cough cough,” Su Jing cleared his throat and said in greeting, “Chairman Zhou, hello.”

The Square-Faced Middle-Aged Man was taken aback for a moment, then slowly dropped his polite demeanor and revealed a warm and kind smile. “Mr. Su, hello. I’ve heard your name mentioned many times, and today I finally have the pleasure of meeting you. You are truly an impressive young man.”
