DBEPV Chapter 103 World Martial Arts Tournament (Part 4)

At this moment.

In space, an enormous spaceship was speeding toward Namek.

This spaceship was none other than Slug’s warship—its sheer size beyond imagination.

Seated on the throne at this very moment was Slug, his body aged, his face weathered.

As a top member of the demon clan, he had wandered and battled across the universe for centuries. Especially in the last few hundred years, he had been constantly searching for a way to restore his youth.

Not long ago, he suddenly received a message claiming to be a summon from the Namek Grand Elder, which helped him recall the existence of the dragon balls.

His future finally held new hope. To him, things like kinship or homeland meant nothing.

He would do whatever it took to find the dragon balls and restore his youth.

“Very soon… very soon I’ll return to my prime…Heh heh! Hahahaha!!” Slug’s emotions surged with excitement.

He could hardly wait to rid himself of this old and weak body, and once again embrace his energetic and powerful self!

As his emotions fluctuated, beneath his throne, the demon warriors who had followed Slug for hundreds of years all revealed bloodthirsty grins.

Dorodabo, Kakuja, Gyoshu, Medamatcha, Angila, and many other demon warriors.

“Once we arrive on Namek, I’ll personally present all the dragon balls to Lord Slug,” Dorodabo volunteered.

“Then let’s see whose speed is faster, keh keh keh,” Gyoshu sneered.

“When it comes to collecting dragon balls, we brothers will definitely be faster than you,” Kakuja added.

“Quiet, all of you. Lord Slug hasn’t spoken—what are you rushing for?” Angila warned.

“Exactly! We’ll reach Namek in five minutes. Let’s just get ready and wait for Lord Slug’s orders,” Medamatcha reminded all the demon warriors.

Slug paid no attention to the chatter of his subordinates.

After regaining control of his emotions, he casually picked up an anti-aging pill. A wicked, ferocious smile crept across his weathered face.

With a single hand, Slug crushed the anti-aging pill into powder.

As long as he obtained the dragon balls, he would completely rid himself of these damned medicines and truly return to his youthful state.

With the power of his prime, ruling the entire universe would just be a matter of time!

Even if the Frost race is still in this universe—he would not fear them.

……

Very quickly, five minutes passed quietly.

Slug’s spaceship had already arrived on the surface of Namek, diving straight through, breaking through Namek’s atmosphere, and landing on a vast, uninhibited island.

On Talot’s side, everyone took notice of the enormous warship.

“They’re finally here. Inside that ship, I can sense an extremely dark and evil Ki—it must be Slug.” Talot expanded his Ki Sense. In an instant, the auras of countless individuals within the spaceship, along with Slug’s aura, entered his perception.

Judging by Ki Sense, the power levels of most of the soldiers barely exceeded one thousand, and some were even weaker—nothing to be concerned about.

Even the rare few whose power level reached above eight thousand, brushing against the ten-thousand mark—were ultimately insignificant.

Aside from Slug, they were all small fry not worth mentioning.

“This dark aura… is that Slug? This aura feels strange—flickering between strong and weak. It’s hard to calculate just how powerful he actually is.” Salari locked onto Slug’s aura, and upon sensing it carefully, realized something was off.

Though powerful, it also felt feeble—like that of an old man at death’s door.

No—worse than an old man.

“Even though this energy is weird, it can give me good exercise.” Raditz said eagerly.

“No.” This time, Salari cut Raditz off firmly. She continued, “Did you forget what happened five months ago? Those demons—you wiped them all out. You didn’t leave a single one for me. This time, the enemy is mine.”

“Uh… fine.” Raditz hesitated for a moment, but after noticing Salari’s murderous glare, he reluctantly handed over Slug to Salari to deal with.

Behind them, the Namekian warriors led by Ragar and Nail stood at the ready, fully prepared for battle.

But just then, a special mechanical device on top of Slug’s spaceship was activated.

This device was launched down onto Namek’s surface.

Soon, as the device began to operate, a thick and eerie black fog was released, rapidly expanding. In mere moments, the entire planet was shrouded in this black fog.

It blocked the radiant light of the three massive stars, and combined with the biting chill carried within the fog, the temperature across Namek plummeted.

A bitter, piercing wind swept through. The lakes on Namek froze, and an endless wave of cold air surged outward.

This scene stirred memories long buried in the heart of the Grand Elder.

Back when Namek faced the horrifying catastrophe—it looked exactly like this.

Darkness descended.

The hatch of the spaceship opened, and hundreds—possibly thousands—of soldiers in white armor poured out from within.

Following closely behind were the five demon warriors who had fought alongside Slug across countless battles.

And finally, making his entrance—was none other than Slug himself.

Although his aura was deep, it was highly unstable. Slug looked every bit the aged, withered old man, clinging to the edge of life.

But even in his deteriorated state, Slug’s aura still reached the million-point level. One could only imagine how powerful he must’ve been at his peak.

“Looks like these Namekians are quite enthusiastic.”

“All we need to do now is get our hands on the dragon balls and let Lord Slug reclaim his youth.”

“Don’t kill them all—leave some alive. Otherwise, it’ll be hard to find the dragon balls.”

“These Namekians have pretty high power levels—each one is over three thousand. And there are two whose power levels exceed sixty thousand? That’s… terrifying.”

“What are you scared of? Without sunlight shining down, this planet is now home turf for us demon warriors. Taking them down will be a piece of cake.”

The five elite demon warriors under Slug were already itching to slaughter everyone in sight.

Their bloodthirsty and war-hungry nature was being fully unleashed in the darkness.

At this moment, the aged Slug felt something stir within him as he returned to Namek.

This place? Was his homeland.

“Hmph… I’ve merely returned to the home where I was born, that’s all. I didn’t expect the locals to give me such a grand reception—it almost makes me feel bad for attacking them.” Slug chuckled darkly, his bloodthirsty eyes sweeping across the gathered Namekians, and ultimately, without a doubt, locking onto Talot and his companions.

“Not Namekians… Humans?” Slug was slightly surprised—he hadn’t expected to find low-class humans in his homeland.

But on closer inspection, Slug noticed something odd.

He caught sight of the tails wrapped around the waists of Talot and the others. Memories surged to the surface, and in no time, he had identified who they were.

“So that’s how it is… Saiyans.” Slug was no stranger to Saiyans. They had once been the largest mercenary force under Cold.

A brutal army that conquered planets for him.

It was a shame the Saiyan race had gone extinct. The common rumor was that they were wiped out by a massive meteor impact, but Slug knew the truth—Planet Vegeta was destroyed by Frieza, who had inherited all of Cold’s forces.

To think they had survived the planet’s explosion… only to run into him here on Namek. What a stroke of bad luck!
