Nearly an hour passed before this demon-slaying war finally came to an end.
As the Devil’s Castle completely became void of any demon’s aura, Talot, Salari, and Raditz led everyone away from this dark and eerie place.
For many years to come, this place would become even more lifeless.
Except for a few special life forms, there would be no more demons here.
Of course, many years later, perhaps new demons would be born or arrive here—after all, this was a naturally dark zone.
Naturally, no one would care.
After all, with the overwhelming power gap, who would care about a small dirt ditch that once housed ants?
As for Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha, their only thoughts were on the mission Master Roshi gave them.
Since they didn’t find or bring back the Sleeping Princess, the mission was considered a failure.
But they had learned what the Sleeping Princess truly was—now already destroyed. Though they failed the mission, they prevented the sun from being destroyed and humanity from being invaded by demons.
…
On Mount Paozu.
Night had fallen, and the sky was full of stars.
Talot, Bulma, Salari, Raditz, Goku, Gine, Son Gohan, and everyone else were all gathered around the campfire, holding a grand barbecue feast.
Originally, Yamcha and Krillin had planned to return to Kame House—after all, it was a family reunion, and they felt a bit out of place.
But after some warm invitations, and with Goku and Bulma speaking up, they decided to stay.
Thankfully, Puar and Oolong were there too, which made things feel less awkward for them.
During the feast—
Bulma clung to Talot the entire time, eager to know where Talot and the others had been all these years and what they had gone through.
Clearly, she had completely ignored or forgotten everything they had just experienced.
Faced with Bulma’s persistent questioning, Talot couldn’t just brush her off, so he briefly told her about their training on North Kai’s Planet.
In fact, Bulma had already learned the full story through Shenron and from Gine—she just thought there might be something she didn’t know yet.
Salari, after returning, appeared very calm, quietly sitting off to the side. But the more composed she acted, the heavier the atmosphere seemed.
Clearly, she had been holding it in as Bulma clung to Talot’s arm and acted all spoiled.
Gine, seeing this scene, felt a headache on Talot’s behalf.
Although Saiyans never had a rule that a man could only be with one woman, their emotions had always been straightforward and simple—mostly because they spent so much time focused on fighting.
Even though times had changed…
Gine couldn’t help but sigh silently. It was only because she had finally been able to live a peaceful life over these years that she started adopting many Earthling ways of thinking.
She could only blame Talot for being too outstanding—if he didn’t attract girls, that would be strange.
Even she herself felt that if they were the same age, she’d definitely be attracted to Talot too.
She no longer looked at them, she had already said everything that needed to be said. From now on, it was up to Talot to figure things out for himself—or rather, it depended on whether Salari could accept Talot having another woman…
Naturally, what Talot would ultimately choose in the end—no one knew.
Because Talot had never taken the initiative.
Looking over to Raditz, a smile appeared on Gine’s face.
At this moment, her eldest son was bragging to Goku about all his experiences over the past few years, leaving Goku full of admiration. Goku said he would definitely get stronger as soon as possible, then travel the world with Raditz and challenge one strong opponent after another.
Little did Goku know what kind of future awaited him.
The feast continued.
Everyone was chatting and laughing, fully immersed in the joyful atmosphere.
It had been so hard to reunite again. As the banquet drew to a close, Talot had already made plans for the near future.
For now, he would stay on Earth.
This return was meant as a break—to rest and adjust his training state.
Besides, he had now mastered the Super Saiyan transformation. What he needed was time to settle, stabilize, and build a solid foundation.
Just in time to take this opportunity to fully relax, completely master and stabilize the Super Saiyan form, and then move toward an even higher level of Super Saiyan.
Then, when the time was right, it would be about time to take the Ultra Divine Water.
But before that, he needed to firmly solidify his current strength.
Gravity training would be essential for a while.
Come to think of it, after all these years training on North Kai’s Planet, he had somewhat neglected gravity training.
He just didn’t know whether Brief had upgraded the Gravity Chamber during this time.
If it had been upgraded, it would be perfect for further tempering himself—an ideal tool to help push his future training to the next level.
In the blink of an eye, it was already the next day.
To report back to Master Roshi about the mission and to let him know they were safe, Goku, Yamcha, Krillin, Oolong, and Puar all headed to Kame House, temporarily bidding farewell to Mount Paozu.
Talot, Salari, and Raditz returned to West City together with Bulma.
Oh, and they brought Gine and Son Gohan along.
Gine came because Kakarot no longer needed her constant care—she finally had free time. As for Son Gohan, he had been feeling unwell recently and was forcibly arranged to have a medical check-up.
In fact, temporarily leaving Mount Paozu was a good thing for them too. At the very least, it allowed them to shift away from their past routines and stop revolving entirely around Goku.
