DBEPV Chapter 101 S Cells, the Sleeping Beauty in Devil’s Castle (Part 5)

Earth.

Mount Paozu.

Talot, Salari, and Raditz, who had returned from North Kai’s Planet, met with Gine and Son Gohan after a long time.

It was a joyful reunion after being apart for so long.

Not just for Talot, Salari, and Raditz, but also for Gine and Son Gohan.

They had returned here first for two reasons: one, to report that they are safe and sound; two, to understand the current situation of Earth and Kakarot, and to confirm what stage the storyline had progressed to.

They learned that Kakarot had already become a disciple of Master Roshi, and that several months ago, Bulma had searched for the Dragon Balls and made a wish to find them. Talot and Salari took this very seriously, while Raditz didn’t feel anything in particular.

After all, he came into the picture later and wasn’t familiar with Bulma—he only knew of her.

“So, Bulma was heartbroken over that for several days? And even swore she’d find the Dragon Balls again next year to make another wish to find us?” Salari deliberately emphasized her tone and glanced at Talot.

When they were younger, she had instinctively seen Bulma as a rival in love. But after spending more time together, she started to genuinely like Bulma.

However, over the years—especially now that they were both nearly 18—they obviously understood matters between men and women.

There are some things you can give way on, but some people you absolutely cannot give up!!!

“That girl is really stubborn too. Salari, if possible, Aunt Gine hopes you two won’t fall out over this.” As someone who had been through it all, how could Gine not know what Salari was thinking?

She could only blame Talot for being too outstanding.

In fact, she worried more about her eldest son. Now that the Saiyan race had been nearly wiped out, and she had lived on Earth for so many years, she knew clearly that if they were to carry on the Saiyan bloodline, Raditz would have to choose an Earthling.

She was already prepared for that. If Raditz wouldn’t take the initiative or even think about it, then as his mother, she would.

After hearing Gine’s words, Salari gave a slight nod, but she wasn’t going to heed them so easily.

At first, Talot didn’t sense anything unusual, but when he noticed the strange look in Salari’s eyes—and Gine signaling him with winks—he immediately felt a headache coming on.

Emotions had always been his weak point. Over the years, he had focused solely on training and improving his strength, so he was never really distracted by such things.

Now that he had returned to Earth, he understood that some unexpected things were bound to happen.

Especially the relationship between Salari and Bulma.

If you asked whether he ever had feelings for Bulma—Talot had thought about it, but that was in his previous life.

After going through so much, and having known Bulma since she was a child, how could he possibly fall for a little girl who’s only a few years old?

Back then, his opinion of Bulma was simply that she was really cute.

In other words, if Salari hadn’t been constantly chasing after him and staying by his side, Talot wouldn’t have developed any special interest in her either.

As the years passed and the fruit gradually ripened, Talot finally came to truly realize that Salari was no longer just a girl—she had become a woman.

“Let’s go. Let’s check out what’s happening with Kakarot. The fighting over there seems pretty intense,” Talot spoke up, taking the initiative to change the subject—and everyone’s focus.

“Yeah, we should. From what I can sense, even though most of them are weaklings, there are indeed a few auras stronger than Kakarot’s,” Raditz nodded. He immediately used Instant Transmission, no longer waiting for Talot to bring him along.

Salari moved closer, as if to remind him: “Brother Talot, although the demons’ aura isn’t that strong, there is one over there that feels extremely strange.”

Hearing that, Talot gave a small nod and said, “You sensed it too? That’s right, that energy is quite unusual.”

Before Salari could say anything more, Talot continued, “Anyway, let’s go over and take a look first. Ideally, we shouldn’t intervene. Let Kakarot treat it as training. If he can’t handle it, then we’ll step in.”

“Mm.” Salari nodded.

Off to the side, Gine also wanted to go, but before she could say anything, Talot had already vanished with Salari from where they stood.

Gine slowly lowered the hand she had lifted, and after a long pause, she said, “Sigh~~! Time flies so fast. Without realizing it, even I’ve become a burden. It’s a different era now… I’ve grown old.”

Gine’s words made Son Gohan smile wryly and helplessly: “You’ve still got plenty of time left, Gine. If anyone’s old, it’s me. I don’t even know how many years I have left to live.”

Hearing that, Gine gave a bitter smile. “Didn’t you say last time that even if you died of old age, you’d wait until Kakarot got married and had kids?”

“Haha~! If I could live to see that day, that’d be wonderful,” Son Gohan beamed with a wide grin.

Even though Goku was only 12 years old now, he already seemed to see the future.

……

Devil’s Hand, inside Devil’s Castle.

Underground.

As Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha fought more fiercely with each passing moment, the countless demon soldiers no longer dared to rush forward recklessly. Instead, they formed a circle in an orderly fashion, surrounding the three of them.

It had to be said—these demons weren’t particularly strong, but they were definitely clever.

Right now, the situation was clearly a numbers game. As long as any of the three showed a moment of weakness or became exhausted, what awaited them was a full-on group assault.

Goku was still doing fine, but Yamcha and Krillin, even though they were taking down enemies with a single strike, were already thoroughly exhausted from the non-stop combat.

“We can’t keep going like this. If we don’t break through, we’ll be worn down to death.” Yamcha took down another giant demon with a punch and called out to Goku and Krillin beside him.

The two nodded in agreement after hearing that.

“But how are we supposed to break through? These guys are like ants—just keep pouring out endlessly. We’ve already taken down at least eight hundred if not a thousand.” Krillin said while taking out another demon.

“No matter what, as long as we break out of here, it’ll be fine! I’ll use Kamehameha to clear a path for you. Once you two are out, I’ll fly my way through.” Goku shouted out loud.

Simple and direct—Yamcha and Krillin both agreed without hesitation.

Right now, it was their only option. Besides, among the three of them, only Goku could convert Ki into an attack.

Wait—no!

They could also use it a little, but the power was clearly not enough—definitely nowhere near Goku’s.

With unspoken understanding, Yamcha and Krillin guarded Goku, blocking all incoming enemies to ensure he wouldn’t be interrupted while gathering energy.

Goku then placed his hands together in a sunflower-like form, shouting as he powered up:

“Ka—Me—Ha—Me—HAAAA!!”

A white beam shot forward, tinged with streaks of light blue.

The blinding and powerful energy attack instantly wiped out all the demons in front of them, blasting open a straight path.

Countless demons screamed in pain, clutching their eyes—the intense light was absolutely lethal to them.
